IMPACT

While fundraising is optional, you can help make an even larger impact on our mission to educate the next generation about 9/11 history. It is more important than ever to reaffirm our collective promise never to forget and ensure that the generation that has grown up since, and all those that follow, understand how the events of 9/11 inform the world in which they live.
- 4 million participants in our 9/11 Anniversary Digital Learning Experience from all 50 states and more than 60 countries
- 54,000 students in our on-site workshops and 24,000 students in our virtual field trips
- 20,000 educators in our professional development opportunities, special events and educational partnership
In the aftermath of 9/11, we stood together as one. The power of that unity helped us heal, gave purpose to our rebuilding, and inspired our promise never to forget. More than two decades later, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum stands as a symbol of renewal and hope in the aftermath of tragedy. The stories of leadership, courage, service, and sacrifice housed within the walls of this Museum stand as powerful reminders that in the face of adversity and unfathomable loss, our capacity for hope and resilience will see us through.
And with your continued support, we will:
- Ensure the 9/11 Memorial remains free and accessible to all who wish to visit it
- Deliver more educational programming, including in-person and virtual field trips for students and teacher training to ensure the millions of Americans born since 9/11 can better understand how we responded to that day and in the days that followed
- Offer insight, empathy and expertise on past and present-day challenges through impactful public programming
