ABOUT THE 2021 NATIONWIDE RUN/WALK

On Sunday, April 25, 2021, thousands from across the country will unite to remember those killed nearly 20 years ago and honor the heroes who put their own lives at risk to save others. Their stories of service, sacrifice, resilience and hope can be our sources of strength in the face of present-day challenges.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum Nationwide Run/Walk, presented by RXR, is a new experience that challenges runners and walkers across the country to collectively achieve 20,000 miles. Registration is free and there are a number of great rewards to encourage you to fundraise including complimentary Museum tickets, a special 9/11 Memorial & Museum t-shirt and event day access to an online VIP Fitness Lounge. One hundred percent of the dollars you raise supports the essential work and mission of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.

On Run/Walk Day, our Virtual Event Hub will be the place to go. Visit the Hub before and after your run/walk to view exclusive content, take a photo with iconic backdrops, interact with other participants from across the nation, share your 9/11 remembrance and more.

Your miles demonstrate that together, we will never forget. Your fundraising ensures that the 9/11 Memorial remains free and accessible to all who wish to visit it. You can help the 9/11 Memorial & Museum deliver more educational programming, including virtual field trips and teacher training, ensuring that future generations learn the lessons of 9/11 and better understand the world in which they live.

As we prepare to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, in these challenging times, you can help the 9/11 Memorial & Museum continue to fulfill its mission with an unwavering sense of purpose and together, we can live up to our collective promise never to forget.
