I walked 2.93 miles towards my goal!
In our own way, each of us has a connection to 9/11 and its aftermath, and that includes me. On that day, I lost my uncle, Christopher Quackenbush. He was an incredible person with the ability to help so many in need and inspire others to act for the greater good. He was the kind of leader who wouldn’t have left the 104th floor that day until he knew his people were safe.
I created Team Quack for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s annual Run/Walk in 2014, and we've been participating ever since. We do so to honor my uncle's memory and keep his legacy of generosity alive today.
That’s why on April 25, I’ll be running and walking together with thousands of others from across the country to support the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Our goal is to collectively run and walk 20,000 miles as we remember all those killed on 9/11 and honor the courageous first responders who ran toward danger to save others.
I hope you’ll consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal – it’s secure and easy to do, right here on this website. For me, every donation that comes in is like a little piece of my uncle still here with me today. Know your donation directly supports the 9/11 Memorial & Museum's essential mission and ensures that a new generation, and those still to come, never forget.
Thanks for your support!
